Reference Design Boards

MSLB9061 and MSLB9082 are complete LED backlight driver solutions for medium sized LCD panels. Each channel drives up to 12 series connected LEDs. The diver board is configured to operate from a wide supply range. The full-scale LED current preset to four current settings per LED string selected by an on-board switch. Current can be adjusted from full-scale through the I2C serial interface. Digital (PWM) dimming is available through an external PWM signal or by using the internal PWM engine via the I2C serial interface.


These Compact LED Driver boards are intended for evaluation, prototyping, or small production runs. Gerber files and Cadence OrCAD layout files are available to allow the circuit to be integrated into a larger system for large production runs.
