Intelligent LED Drivers for

Notebook and Industrial Panel Applications

 

mSilica offers LED driver solutions with feature sets that are specifically designed to reduce component count, provide design flexibility and lowest overall system solution cost for notebooks and specialty panels. The serial interface allows an external microcontroller to program the LED current, enable/disable individual LED strings as well as read status registers for comprehensive fault monitoring and protection. LED dimming is achieved through an external PWM signal or an internal 8 bit PWM engine. Digital control eliminates external compensation.

mSilica offers assembled and fully tested LED driver boards intended for evaluation and prototyping.  Boards support LED current programming, individual string control, status register monitoring, dimming control (internal or external) via USB interface to a PC running mSilica's Graphical User Interface (GUI) software.  Load boards and power supply boards are also available.
