mSilica’s family of LED drivers offer highest integration, reducing overall system cost and size. mSilica’s patented Adaptive Power Scaling technology results in significant power savings. All drivers incorporate an internal PWM engine with video sync capability that eliminates motion blur and offers the industry's widest dimming range (up to 12 bits), precision string control and string-to-string-matching. Comprehensive on-chip monitoring adjusts for aging, electrical faults, and thermal effects. mSilica devices support both edgelit and direct backlit LCD configurations.

mSilica offers assembled and fully tested LED driver boards intended for evaluation and prototyping.  Boards support LED current programming, individual string control, status register monitoring, dimming control (internal or external) via USB interface to a PC running mSilica's Graphical User Interface (GUI) software.  Load boards and power supply boards are also available.
